This footage shows glowing lava bombs being thrown out onto the volcano's flank as part of powerful explosive strombolian/vulcanian activity. This activity is part of the 2015-16 eruption, which began on 30 November 2015. This is the first eruption of this volcano since 1905. This stratovolcano, which rises to an elevation of 1297 metres, is located on the north shore of Lago de Managua, Nicaragua. Footage obtained in 2016.
