The moon. Zoom-in view of the Moon and lunar craters, seen through a telescope. Various dark seas or maria can be seen, as well as the two bright rayed craters Tycho (near the bottom), and Copernicus (north of Tycho). At 86 kilometre wide and around 5 kilometres deep, the Tycho crater appears the most prominent. It is surrounded by a distinctive ray system forming long spokes that reach as far as 1, 500 kilometres.
