Timelapse footage of altocumulus clouds passing beneath a full Moon. Altocumulus clouds occur at mid-level altitudes (2 to 7 kilometres). They consist of super-cooled water droplets and occasionally ice. The clouds form fleece-like globular masses that may be white or grey in colour, and they are usually associated with fair weather. Filmed in South Dakota, USA, in summer.
