Transition between aerial images of St Paul's Cathedral, in London, UK taken in the middle of the 20th century and in 2011. The cathedral was designed by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London in 1666, and built between 1675-1720, although it was consecrated earlier, in 1708. The area around it, in the City of London, has been built up considerably in between the two images.
