Wild parsnip (Heracleum mantegassiamun), also known as giant hogweed, is an invasive plant, the sap of which can cause severe skin reactions in humans, including blisters, long-lasting scars, and, if it comes in contact with eyes, blindness. Native to the Caucasus and central Asia, it has spread to Europe, the U.S. and Canada.
