New adult honeybee (Apis mellifera) emerging from its cell while another adult reaches deep into adjacent cell to feed larva. New adults are identical to others except for their lighter color and inability to sting. Honeybees undergo complete metamorphosis, a process which includes four stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult, the latter emerging from a honeycomb cell.
