Protein interactions animation. Clip 4 of 10. This clip forms part of an animation sequence showing protein interactions within a dividing cell. This clip, which includes labels, shows the microtubules of the cell磗 cytoskeleton, surrounded by proteins in the cytoplasm, with the motor protein kinesin 8 moving along the microtubles. The full sequence of ten clips shows the interaction between the protein calmodulin CaM, calcium_modulated protein, calcium ions, the MLCK myosin light_chain kinase protein, and the actin_myosin bundles of the cell磗 cytoskeleton, resulting in contraction of the membrane and cell division.
