Angiography video of the left leg of a 72_year_old patient. The patient was a former smoker with hypertension high blood pressure and high cholesterol. This angiography shows infiltration with atherosclerotic stenosis narrowing across the femoral artery. Angiography is an imaging technique in which a radio_opaque contrast medium is injected into blood vessels to allow them to be seen on an X_ray. Here the medium was introduced by the Seldinger technique via femoral catheterization.
