PAN, exterior, daylight. Before the construction of the Acequia Real The Royal Waterway, which gave the Alhambra its own independent water supply, a wall, known as coracha, wend down the hill from the Alcazaba to the river Darro to the point known today as the Puente del Cadi. It was here that the Alhambra磗 water supply was collected. This bridge may also have been a sluice gate designed to dam the river and release it suddenly downstream either to flush out the river_bed or to seep away assailants.
