PAN. Interior: Ambulatory, St. Eligius Eloi Chapel. This is the first radiating chapel of the south side of the ambulatory, and it serves as the entrance to the Treasury. Its blind arcade is decorated with 16th_century wall paintings, donated by Adrien de Henencourt, that represent eight sibyls. The Cathedral is in the High Gothic or Classical French style. It was built in the 13th century 1218_1269 to replace a previous Romanesque cathedral. UNESCO designated Amiens Cathedral a World Heritage Site in 1981.
