Locked Down Shot, Daylight. Chateau de Vincennes, exterior, north_west tower, walls and entrance to the castle. Built by Charles V of France in the 14th century. Being 1,200m long, lined with nine towers originally 40 to 42 m high, surrounded by a 27m wide moat filled with water until the end of the 17th century, the enceinte is equivalent to that of a small medieval town.
