Black-headed Heron (Ardea melanocephala) taking off in long grass after good rains in Etosha National park, Namibia, Southern Africa. This bird hunts rodents and insects in dry grassland. It is found in Africa, south of the Sahara Desert. Herons in the north of the range migrate south during the dry season.
