Covid-19 lateral flow test. This test identifies infection with coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. A sample taken with a swab from the nose and throat is mixed with the extraction solution and dripped into to the sample well (S). After 30 minutes, if a line appears only at "C" (control), a negative result is indicated. Lines appearing at both the control, and at the test (T), indicate a positive result. SARS-CoV-2 emerged in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 and causes a respiratory infection (Covid-19) that can lead to fatal pneumonia.
