William Pitt the Younger (1759-1806), British politician. Pitt became the youngest British Prime Minister in 1783, at the age of 24 and is best known for leading Britain in the Napoleonic Wars (1803-1815) against France. He served until 1801 and then again from 1804 until his death in 1806. He is known as 'the Younger' to distinguish him from his father, who had previously served as Prime Minister.
