Great Hall, Kirby Hall, Northamptonshire, 2012. Interior view from the south-west looking towards the gallery. Kirby Hall was one of the finest houses built in the 17th century. Begun in 1570 by Sir Humphrey Stafford, it was completed by Sir Christopher Hatton, Lord Chancellor to Elizabeth I.
