Pre-Columbian reliefs in stone at the Sechin ruins near Casma dating 1600 B.C. They are well-preserved among the Perus coastal ruins. Three outside walls of the main temple are covered with relief carvings of warriors and of captives being eviscerated. The gruesomely realistic stone carvings are up to four meters high.
