One of the most bizarre landscape I have ever come across. On site at the world's largest mud volcano in Sidoarjo. Erupted in 2006, displacing tens of thousands. And was apparently triggered by an oil and gas expedition gone awry. These statues are perhaps a grim memorial of lives lost that day.
