Neck of a 49 year old white female patient with Poikiloderma of Civatte. This chronic skin disorder causes thinning (atrophy) of the skin, changes in pigmentation and the dilation of fine blood vessels at the skins surface. The cause is not know, but long term sun exposure is thought to be a contributing factor.
