The Full Hunters Moon of October 28, 2023, with contrast enhanced to bring out the differences in shading and colours on the lunar disk, and the bright rays from craters such as Tycho at bottom, and also the surrounding deep blue moonlit sky. The Moon was a few hours past full at this time, after a partial lunar eclipse earlier in the day that was visible from Europe and the Eastern Hemisphere, but not from my location. Even the penumbral eclipse was over by the time I shot this early in my evening in clearing skies.
