Subjacent is the Wynyard Pier; further to the right is Britomart Point, Battery, and St. Pauls Church. Thence, to the right, is the commercial part of the city, with the steam-biscuit and other factories or stores, whence shipments to vessels of small and large tonnage are made by means of the Queen-street wharf and pier: the latter is a most useful structure, about three-quarters of a mile in length.
