Satellite image of the Pico Viejo Crater located in Tenerife, Spain. The Pico Viejo volcano is situated within the Teide National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The last eruption of Pico Viejo occurred in 1798. The crater is huge, approximately 720 metres in diameter. The rugged terrain and remnants of ancient volcanic activity make this location a popular destination for geology enthusiasts and hikers. Image obtained on 14 July 2022 on the Vision-1 satellite.
