Saint Dominica the Encuirasse; named so because he wore an iron armour that he left only to flogging. He lived in Italy in the 11th century and died in 1060. Celebre for his austerity; he spent his life in the deserts of Montefeltro and Fontavellano; in the middle of the Apennines; living only on bread and water.
