Mobile shepherd's cabin with 3 wheels used at the end of the 18th century and at the beginning of the 19th century. The first model was made for the royal sheepfold of King Louis XVI's experimental farm in Rambouillet; when a herd of merinos was installed there (in 1785) bought Charles III. A shepherd's school was opened in Rambouillet in 1794. Napoleon Bonaparte and the Impress Josephine took great care of the facilities of the farm; which is now a ??national sheepfold??with a sheep museum.
