People buy Hilsa fish at the Lalbazar fish market in Sylhet city. Although a large amount of HILSA fish has been caught by fishermen in the estuaries of rivers and seas recently, HILSA fish is still being sold at high prices at 1500-2000 (approx. 9 - 20 USD) Taka per kg.
