"Treaty of Paris" (1763). Definitive peace treaty, concluded between Great Britain, France and Spain. Signed in Paris on 10 February 1763 by the Duke Choiseul (France), the Marquis de Grimaldi (Spain) and the Duke of Bedford (Great Britain). The agreement led to a reorganisation of the territorial distribution of the colonies, where Great Britain was the main beneficiary. Article XI (in the East Indies, Great Britain shall restitute to France the various factories it owned on the Coromandel Coast, Orissa, Malabar and Bengal).
