This is the most common type of uterine cancer, endometrioid (resembling the normal endometrium) adenocarcinoma (cancer that forms from glandular structures). The glandular structures are seen in the image as groups of cells around branching spaces (clear white areas). The stroma (pink) occupies thin areas between the cancer glands. Haematoxylin and eosin stained tissue section. Magnification: x200 when printed at 10 cm.
