One of the Zodiac dinghies is dwarfed by a whale-chaser as it flanks the boat in the open sea off Albany. Protesters Take To Sea. Today: The anti-whaling campaign took to the sea today. Dogged by bad luck, two motorised rubber dinghies manned by protesters, did not get far. But they proved capable of keeping up with the whale-chasing vessels from Cheynes Beach under the most extreme conditions. One of the Zodiac dinghies dropped out of the chase with engine trouble before it reached the Heads of Frenchman's Bay and the second, also with engine trouble, a few kilometres out to sea.
