Bone marrow, the blood-forming substance, is red and collagen fibres are brown. The collagen fibres run through the bone to the teeth, anchoring them to the jaw. The picture was created as part of a cooperation with Quintessenz Publishing. Magnification: x140 when printed at 15cm wide.
