Frontal view of a dew covered small skipper butterfly (Thymelicus sylvestris) resting on a plantain flowerhead in a damp meadow habitat. A butterfly of high summer they can be found basking on vegetation and darting amongst tall grasses. The main larval food plant is Yorkshire-fog and occasionally other grasses.
