The Canadian National Vimy Memorial is a memorial site in France dedicated to the memory of Canadian Expeditionary Force members killed during the First World War. Designed by Walter Seymour Allward and inaugurated by King Edward VIII and French President Albert Lebrun on 26th July 1936. Date: 1936
