CENSER WITH LOTUS SCROLLS AND THE EIGHT BUDDHIST TREASURES.

Dynasty: 20th c.
Heavy porcelain painted in famille rose with gold on yellow background. Inside glaze turquoise.
The bulbous body drawn in towards the lip and on three spherical legs. The two handles
swung high above the vessel. The body is covered by lotus tendrils with the Buddhist
treasures in between. The lip with leiwen meanders; also on the handles; here also bats.
In the bottom a ring in the glaze and filled with dense spriral tendrils; inside the ring
a blossom.
Measurement: H.25cm; w.24.5cm.
Mark: On the square lip a six-part Qianlong mark in iron red; but later.
