Poland; city of Kamien Pomorski: Monument for German natural scientist Ewald Georg von Kleist (1700 - 1748) behind southern front of catholic cathedral St. John; On 11th of October 1745 Kleist invented in Kammin the Kleistian jar which could store electricity in large quantities. However; much more famous became the Leyden jar. named after professor Pieter (Petrus) van Musschenbroek of Leyden; who invented it independently; later.
