Marielle Franco; born 27th of July 1979 as Marielle Francisco da Silva in Rio de Janeiro; Brazil; was assassinated on 14th of March 2018 in Rio de Janeiro; having been City Councillor of Rio de Janeiro; since 1st of January; 2017. She was a Brazilian politician; sociologist; feminist; socialist; parlamentarian; and human rights activist; especially for LGBT rights; and mother of a daughter (Luyara Santos; born 1998).
