The sandstone wall above the Many Hands Ruin in Mystery Valley in the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park is covered with 1000-year old rock art from the Ancestral Puebloan Culture. Negative handprints such as this one were created by placing one's hand against the wall and blowing the paint over it with a reed straw.. (Photo by: Jon G. Fuller/VWPics/UIG)
