WALNUT; IRON AND BRASS HUNTING FLINTLOCK SHOTGUN.
Austria. Mid-18th century. Josef Spirckenpichler.
Iron; brass; walnut. Barrel octagonal in the front merging to a round shape. Slightly cut
flintlock; the carved walnut stock with decoration made of brass and wooden trigger guard. Slightly sideways offset; wooden ramrod with brass tip. Length 120 cm.
On the lock plate minted in brass mark 'IOS:Spirckenpichler'. On the magazine three lilies and 'IO: Spirckenpichler' below crown over jumping unicorn.
