Ovoid jar with Japanese ladies with a yoke in scalloped panels; Egg-shaped porcelain covered pot; painted on the glaze in blue; red; green; yellow; eggplant and black. On the belly three large; scalloped cartouches with a Japanese lady with a yoke on her shoulders. Two flower baskets hang from the yoke. Above the cartouches a band with leaf vines. Scalloped triangles with napkin work between the cartouches. On the shoulder a band with napkin work interrupted by lobed cartouches with valuables (books). A band with lotus vines on the neck. Marked on the bottom with an unidentified seal mark.
