On the flat the coat of arms of Martinus Nolthenius (1766-1793); a VOC servant. The weapon is divided into four compartments with in 1 a sea god against a blue background; 2. two dolphins [?] Against a golden background; 3. six squares against a silver background; 4. six golden stars on a green background. The cover is in blue and gold with tassels; the helmet sign is a swan. Decorative bands around the weapon and on the inner edge. Two cracks and two chips in the rim of the dish. Weapon porcelain with enamel colors. They are marked with the numbers one through eight debossed to the left of the opening.
