Covered jar with flowering plants in panels; flower sprays and scrolls; Baluster-shaped porcelain covered pot; painted in underglaze blue and on the enamel red; green and gold. On the belly four large; scalloped cartouches with flowering plants (prunus; peony; grasses) near rocks. On the shoulder a band with lobed cartouches with flower sprays (chrysanthemum; prunus; peony); half flower rosettes with three leaves between the cartouches. A band with floral scrolls around the neck and foot. Flower vines on the neck. The foot with a band curl. The cover flowering plants on rocks (hydrangea; chrysanthemum) with two bands of flower vines around the bud. The border with a band of flowers. Lid has been broken and probably not original with the jar.
