Half alstrip of bobbin lace with fan and French lily; Half alstrip of natural-colored bobbin lace. Richly nuanced light side with a repeating pattern that consists of two types of symmetrical compositions of flowers; leaves and architectural forms. One composition consists of a beam line including a fan-shaped or palmet-shaped vase; surrounded by flowers and standing on a hollow arch with a diamond filling. The other pattern consists of a bowl from which a pomegranate and an obelisk-like pointed diamond form rice; topped by a French lily. The motifs are connected to each other with a poisoned braid soil; here and there the braids run past behind the motifs. The motifs are made in loosely clotted linen and net strokes and are sporadically provided with cloned relief contours. A wide variety of decorative grounds has been used within the motifs. The shells along the lower edge stem from the pattern. The top edge is finished with a straight edge; just like the side edges that are also provided with picots.; anonymous; unknown; c. 1710 - c. 1730; linen (material); Brabant bobbin lace; l 250 cm x w 61 cm x; 52 cm
