Knot chest of gold-plated silver. Walls and lid open with flower and leaf work. The rectangular box has a convex; hinged lid and rests on four balustering legs. Profiled edges run along the top and bottom of the box; and along the bottom of the lid. The walls and the lid are cut open and then embossed with a decoration of flowers and leaves. There are two dancing putti on the lid. On their shoulders they carry a branch with a bunch of grapes. At the front there is a keyhole with a round hole on either side.
