The repeating pattern consists of two different flower pots; both on tables. A bird flies between successive bouquets. The bouquets are highly stylized; with splitting and curling flower branches forming a kind of cloud or lobed oval carthouches. In the largest 'cloud' is a carnation; with a rosette flower above it. The motifs are connected by a mesh ground. The motifs are made in linen; with thicker and shiny contour threads. Various decorative grounds have been applied; including a snowy ground.
