Laterally flattened pear-shaped body and tapered neck; blown into shape with 16 vertical ribs. A second layer of glass is applied around the body for reinforcement. The mouth is set in a gold-plated silver frame with a serrated edge. Flat; scalloped stopper; with a chain attached to the frame. The bottom of the foot and the stop marked with a rosette (unknown maker's mark) and an N (Nuremberg).
