Bodebus of the city of Amsterdam; on a round plate; surrounded by a convex; vine-driven frame; the city seal of Amsterdam is displayed against a punched background. The crowned weapon of Amsterdam rests against the mast of a wave-supported bullet ship. It is flanked by two bearded warriors in Roman armor; each holding a staff with a crowned coat of arms; the left shows the imperial weapon; the right shows the weapon of Holland. The three weapons are enamelled in red and black. Next to the coat of arms of Amsterdam is a small bearded figure that looks upwards from the front. The plate is set in a frame with six satyrs. The upper two hold an object adorned with a monster head; which is filled with a pomegranate; other fruits and horns. The remaining four satyrs are wedged in curling scrolls. The lower two cherish each a fruit. The frame has a punched soil and is driven with fruit in some places. It is closed at the bottom by a motif with grunts. Both the plate and the frame are partially plated. The slightly convex object is mounted on a flat red copper back plate with a large round hole in the middle; a round eye on the underside and the onset of a hook that has now been broken off.
