Hat bobbin from bobbin lace with heart-shaped center; Hat bobbin from natural-colored Brussels bobbin lace. The symmetrical; rich pattern consists of a heart-shaped center; formed by a triangular vase with a bulb base and two curling; feathered leaves. A drop-shaped flower rises right from the heart between flowers and from a palmetblad. Left and right; diagonally below the heart; springs from a thick volute; an outward-facing carnation and rosette flower. Various flowers; including many rosette flowers and leaves further fill the pattern. There is not really a ground; the motifs are connected by crossing pairs. The motifs are made in fine and densely worked linen strokes and net strokes; with open worked edges and partly with clotted relief contour lines. A decorative soil made of snowflakes in combination with net stroke was sparingly applied around some motifs.
