Anna's upper body slightly shifts to the right; with her right hand she holds the outstretched arm of the naked; overlying Child; who supports Maria with the left hand under the breast; while she takes his right foot with the other hand. Her gaze goes in the direction of the protruding child's arm. Anna wears a hood under the veil and a baby cloth; furthermore a robe with turned up sleeves and a mantle that falls back on her shoulders; which is received under her left arm and hangs down to the points of the shoes; Maria a robe with square neckline trimmed with a fringe of fur; under which a second rug protrudes; the fallen cloak hangs from her shoulders; which has turned to the left; is held up by the right hand and hangs to the ground; releasing the pointed shoe tips.
