The repeating pattern consists of a double zigzag line between which a chain of interconnected diamond-shaped fields is created. In each field there is always one pointed oval; which is connected to the zigzag lines with crossing pairs. There is also one pointed oval in the corners below and above the lines. These pointed ovals are interconnected with a lattice ground: a rough straw lattice ground. Along the underside of the strip a scalloped edge is formed by an alternation of a heart-shaped motif and a hanging fan-shaped motif. The zigzag lines; pointed oval and fan-shaped motifs are made in linen. The heart-shaped motifs are alternately made in linen and net.
