The corner posts have gilt bronze fittings. The marketery shows a continuous pattern on both drawers. In the middle a medallion; inside which a vase with ram's heads and festoons. The upper threshold is decorated with hexagonal fields and rosettes. The scalloped middle part; which depends on the sill; bears a copper decorative piece.
