The brass hilt is cast; gilded and adorned with buttons; curls and accents; an embossed embossed ornament is soldered on the guard rail in the form of a laurel wreath around an openwork W of stamped silver; the black horn handle is wound with twisted silver wire; has a back piece with a pattern of scales and flows into a hilt knob in the shape of a lion's head. The blade is etched in relief with the address of the swordsman between flower vines; the assignment; the letter Z on a crowned shield; the word YZERHOUWER between flower vines and the name of the recipient; the relief decoration is gilded against a blued background. The sheath is made of German silver and has an iron drag plate stamped with the letters F.K .; the bands and supporting rings are made of brass.
