Model of a Paddle Shaft Support; Model of a part of the ship's skin with an outer support device for the wheel axle. The pillow block in front of the axle rests on a platform that is supported by three knees. The knees are covered with a smooth semi-circular plate; presumably as protection against splashing water. Two triangular side panels protect the block against splashing water.
