Mother-of-pearl on the handle; a jumping grenade on the baffle plate. Under the baffle plate 'S. de Jager 'and the letters' I.V.E.'. With engraving; somewhat blued and gilded. With black leather sheath. Mouth of brass and ear-band with hook.
